Before arriving at Westchase, I began my career at Dickenson Elementary where I taught kindergarten, 2nd and 5th grades.  I met my wife, Cheryl, at Dickenson.   After our daughter was born, I transferred to Citrus Park Elementary to teach kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. In 2004. I was appointed to Assistant Principal for Elementary Instruction at Lutz Elementary, in the northern part of the county. My last stop before Westchase was Principal of Anderson Elementary School in South Tampa for 5 years.

I am certified in Elementary Education, Primary Education, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), and Gifted Education, as well as School Principal (k-12).  Currently, I live ~in Lutz with Cheryl and my daughter Emily.  My oldest daughter, Ashley and her husband live in North Palm Beach.  We are eagerly anticipating our first grandchild in the spring. We have three dogs, a Cavalier King Charles and 2 Lhasaliers.

I'm a runner, and my 2014 goal is to complete a half-marathon (injury free).  I also enjoy building with and collecting Legos.

At Westchase, the administration, teachers, PTA, and community work together to promote student academic progress.

We make a difference at Westchase!
